MetroSpotter – Terms of Service

Welcome to MetroSpotter. By accessing or using this service, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately.

Eligibility
- You must be at least 13 years old to use MetroSpotter.
- If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or guardian.
User Accounts
- Provide accurate account information
- Keep your account secure
- Not impersonate others
- We reserve the right to limit or remove accounts that violate these terms.
User-Submitted Content
- MetroSpotter allows users to submit sightings, photos & media, comments, and social posts.
- By posting content, you agree that you own the rights to it, it does not violate copyright, privacy rights, or laws, and it does not contain harmful or inappropriate material.
- MetroSpotter may remove content that violates rules, is harmful or misleading, contains personal/private information, or has been reported by users.
Location Data
- Users may choose to attach a location by entering a place manually, dragging a map pin, or tapping “Auto-fill GPS”.
- Important: GPS is never collected automatically. You should not use Auto-GPS at home or at private locations.
- MetroSpotter is not responsible for inaccurate or sensitive locations submitted by users.
- We may reduce the precision of coordinates to protect privacy.
Prohibited Actions
- You may not use MetroSpotter to harass or stalk individuals, share personal information about others, upload illegal content, spam, hack, disrupt the service, or impersonate others.
Moderation
- MetroSpotter admins may remove posts, comments, or sightings; suspend or limit accounts; review reports and logs; and make final decisions on moderation actions.
Service Availability
- MetroSpotter may change or remove features, experience downtime, or update/modify the service at any time. We are not responsible for data loss or unavailability.
Advertising & Premium Features
- MetroSpotter may include advertisements and optional paid upgrades (e.g., ad-free experience).
- Third-party services (e.g., AdSense, Stripe) may have their own policies.
Privacy
- Your use of MetroSpotter is also governed by our Privacy Policy, explaining how data is collected and used.
Changes to Terms
- We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of MetroSpotter means acceptance of updated terms.
