  - Firebase user ID

  - Uploaded images
  - Reports
- c. Location Data (Optional)
  - You may manually attach a location using:
  - A typed location
  - A draggable pin
  - The Auto-GPS button
  - Important: GPS is never gathered automatically. Only the location you choose to send is saved. Users should avoid submitting private or residential locations.
How We Use Data
- Display sightings and posts
- Support account features
- Moderate content
- Improve safety
- Prevent abuse
- Enable advertising or premium upgrades
- We do not sell your data.
Who Can See Your Data
- Publicly visible:
  - The sightings you submit
  - Posts & comments you publish
  - Your display name and profile picture
  - The location you attach to a sighting
- Not public:
  - Your email
  - Admin audit logs
  - Deleted content logs
- Admins may view: Reports, Moderation logs, User roles, Deleted posts/comments
Cookies & Analytics
- We may use cookies, analytics tools, and advertising cookies (for Google AdSense, if enabled). These help improve performance and personalise ads.
Security
- We use Firebase’s built-in security and encryption. No online service is 100% secure.
Your Rights
- You may edit your profile, request account deletion, request data deletion, and report content. To request removal of data, contact us.
Children’s Privacy
- MetroSpotter is not intended for children under 13. Under-18 users require guardian permission.

- We may update this policy periodically. Continued use of the platform means you accept the changes.
